Last updated: 9 September 2026 · CloudStore is operated by Kumara Swamy Technologies (trading as KSTechX), Andhra Pradesh, India.
Your files are stored only in your own cloud account (Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive). CloudStore never keeps a copy of your files. We store a list of your files and the settings you choose so the app can organise them for you.
Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture, and an access token that lets CloudStore create and manage files inside a folder named “CloudStore” in your Google Drive. We request only the drive.file permission, which limits us to files created through this app — we cannot see the rest of your Drive.
File information. For each file you upload we store its name, size, type, the folder and tags you assign, an optional note and expiry date you enter, a content fingerprint (hash) used to detect duplicates, and the identifier of the file in your cloud. We do not store the file contents.
Usage information. Sign-in times, uploads and deletions, so you can see your own activity and we can enforce plan limits.
Optional cloud connections. If you connect Dropbox or OneDrive we store the access tokens they issue, for the same purpose.
Google data is used only to upload, list, download, move, rename and delete files that you create through CloudStore, and to show your Drive storage usage. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties except the hosting and database providers below, who process it on our behalf. CloudStore’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The app runs on Google Cloud (Firebase App Hosting) and the database is hosted by Neon, both in the Singapore region. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Optional reminder emails are sent through Resend.
If you join a team, members of that team can see the names of files uploaded to the team workspace and download them. Files stay in the uploader’s own cloud account.
You can delete any file or folder inside CloudStore, disconnect Dropbox or OneDrive from Settings, and revoke CloudStore’s access to Google Drive at any time from your Google Account permissions. Revoking access does not delete files already in your Drive — they remain yours. To delete your CloudStore account and all data we hold about you, email hello@kstechx.com and we will do so within 7 days.
We use a single sign-in session cookie and local browser storage for preferences such as dark mode. No advertising or tracking cookies.
